Movies are back? At CinemaCon, theater owners and studios will make the case

The CinemaCon event in Las Vegas highlights the current state of the movie industry, showcasing optimism despite challenges from the pandemic and Hollywood strikes. Certain films perform better than expected, indicating robust consumer demand. However, risks like declining attendance and over-reliance on specific film types persist. Major studios present upcoming releases, while niche programming like anime gains recognition. Overall, despite challenges, there's confidence in the resilience of moviegoing.

I really do hope movies theaters bounce back and ultimately improve.

It's bad when you pay to see a movie and the picture quality and experience are worse than what you can get at home. Ideally they continue to enhance the experiences and provide something that the average consumer doesn't get at home.
