Creator worth knowing ✨

The phenomenon of 3D minimalism is a genre that I truly hope endures for years to come. It’s cute, relaxing, and fun to look at – whether on a website or as a work of art. There’s something relaxing about looking at images that don’t require a lot of brain power to process and explore. They just kind of vibe, you know?

The Cute Things #001

Tran Mau Tri Tam is a talented visual designer with many awesome 3D illustrations. Tran’s images tend to have soft edges, subtle gradients, and a almost “play-dough” like feeling – as if it could come to life. It’s a very warm aesthetic – one that fits very nicely into all of the cool website designs that Tran helps design. Explore all of the 3D designs and website mockups at the link below!

David’s Hot Take 🌶

How do you incorporate inspiration into the daily grind? It’s a question of intentionality when it comes right down to it. The internet is a double edged sword when it comes to inspiration – it can take us to the next level, or it can keep us treading water as we stare into the void of meaningless content. Can Zack eat 5 McRibs AND run 5 miles at the same time? Yes, you see this sort of thing every day, whether it’s on Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, Reddit, or any of the other social media platforms. Shake up your daily internet usage with sites like dribbble for art and design or CG Society for fantastical characters and worlds, or fill your feed with theme accounts that cater to art/music that inspire you. Then – inspiration may just turn into action, as you see something which sparks your desire to create!

Dall-e Prompt 🤖

What can Dall-e create for us today? Today’s prompt is “A gang of coffee beans walking down a neon lit street.” Dall-e took this prompt quite literally as you can see. 😂

That’s all for this week!
